Footage Shows Rescue of U.S. Airmen Shot Down Over Iran
Declassified videos released by the U.S. military show the rescue of two U.S. Air Force airmen after their F-15E Strike Eagle was shot down over Iran on April 2.
The pilot was rescued shortly after the crash, while the injured weapons systems officer hid behind enemy lines for two days before being rescued. Hundreds of military and intelligence personnel supported the operation. Read
