Hacking Group Claims It Stole Data on 'Almost All' FBI Agents

Cybercrime group ShinyHunters claims it breached the FBI and stole personal data, including addresses and phone numbers, belonging to about 5,000 employees and job applicants.

The group said it is not demanding a ransom but wants the FBI to retract an advisory about its extortion tactics, which it claims contains “false allegations.” The FBI has not confirmed the breach but said it is investigating. Read

The U.S. Customs and Border Protection and the Coast Guard arrested 22 migrants aboard a suspected smuggling boat intercepted near Key Largo, Florida. The group included 13 Chinese nationals, eight Ecuadorian nationals, one Dominican national and a suspected Cuban smuggler. Read
