U.S. Says Chinese Hackers Waged Yearslong Cyberattack on NASA, DOJ and Senate
The U.S. Justice Department said Wednesday it disrupted a yearslong China-based hacking operation that infiltrated the Justice Department, NASA, Senate and other government agencies.
The department seized domains linked to QScan and QTRouter, two hacking platforms allegedly used in the campaign. U.S. officials linked the operation to China-based Nanjing Xinjiuwei Network Technology Co., which allegedly served China’s Ministry of State Security and People’s Liberation Army. Read
