Autonomous Russian Drone Equipped With Nvidia Chip Kills 3 Civilians in Ukraine

A Russian Molniya drone equipped with an Nvidia Jetson Orin computer appears to have autonomously selected its target during a July 6 attack near a gas station in Zaporizhzhia, Ukraine, killing three civilians.

Ukrainian officials said operators directed the drone to the area, but its onboard AI selected the target, likely propane tanks, before the drone crashed into a building and exploded near civilians. Ukrainian intelligence said the Nvidia technology has also been found in other Russian weapons. Read

U.S. troops are conducting joint anti-narcotics operations with Ecuadorian forces near the Colombian border, Ecuadorian officials said.
